Dr. Tanjir Rashid Soron started his professional career as an Assistant Professor and Head of Department of Psychiatry in a reputed medical college after receiving his Doctor of Medicine (MD) in Psychiatry from Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU). He also completed MSc from University of Edinburgh, UK and founded TRIN to ensure universal mental health coverage. He has received multiple training from the UK, USA, South Korea and India. His area of clinical interest is Bipolar, Anxiety and Behavioral Addictions. He is a Commonwealth Scholar, recipient of the Paramjit Toor Joshi, MD, International Scholars Award from The American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (AACAP) and Fellow of World Psychiatric Association and World Association of Social Psychiatry.

Mohammad Abdul Awal Miah

Mr. Awal is a certified stress counselor by Critical Incident and Stress Management Unit, UNDSS, United Nations and former ‘Adjunct Senior Lecturer in Perdana University, Malaysia. As a practicing clinical psychologist, he has served thousands of people with mental health problems for more than twelve years. He is highly skilled in the management of mental health problems of children, adolescents (e.g. conduct and behavioral problems, ADHD) and adults (e.g. trauma and stress-related problems, depression, anxiety, explosive anger, psychosexual dysfunction).


Tanzina Chowdhury

Counselling Psychologist

A qualified counsellor with proven experience supporting clients in the workplace and in educational settings. Committed to delivering client-centred support that gradually empowers individuals and enables them to make informed decisions. Possesses detailed understanding of Professional Conduct and Ethical Framework and applies such standards in interactions with clients and colleagues. Sound knowledge of theoretical counselling approaches and their application to real-world settings, having a special interest in solution-focused behavioural therapy, integrative counselling, systemic therapy, choice theory and reality therapy, Gestalt Therapy and person-centred counselling. Additional expertise in career counselling. Currently looking to expand areas of expertise in bereavement and grief counselling.

Md. Ashiquir Rahaman

Clinical Psychologist

Completed his MS and M Phil in Clinical Psychology from University of Dhaka. He delivers Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and other evidence-based intervention to adult and adolescent clients with a wide range of emotional, behavioral and autism spectrum disorders.

Completed her MSc and M Phil in Clinical Psychology from University of Dhaka. She enjoys working with clients who struggle with mental health problems such as Depression, Anxiety, Stress, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), PTSD, Panic Attack, Personality Disorder etc.

Md. Aminul Islam is one of the most dynamic Clinical Psychologist of TRIN who has completed his MS and MPhil (1) in Clinical Psychology from University of Dhaka. He has been working in the mental health sector for a long period of time. He has dedicatedly worked with adolescents and adults throughout his career

Sharmin Ara

Clinical Psychologist

Completed MSc and MPhil (P-2) in Clinical Psychology from University of Dhaka. She delivers Cognitive Behaviour Therapy Family Therapy. She helps clients of different age groups having emotional, behavioural problems like depression, substance abuse, relationship difficulties and family issues.
